About
As a child, I read voraciously. To me, reading was an escape and an adventure to go where my family had never gone. We didn’t take vacations and I never had a babysitter. My world could only be expanded by the written page.
Having developed my love of books early on and carrying that into adulthood, creating a career around books seems like common sense. However, I chose to go the business route, got an MBA and spent fifteen years working in Fortune 500 companies and then owned franchised restaurants. After that period of my life, it was time for a new emphasis.
I met a woman in 2012 who was writing a book and had nowhere to publish it. I volunteered to learn all I could about publishing and Skinny Leopard Media was born. Since then, I have collaborated with some fascinating and talented writers as well as subcontracted with other publishers who needed assistance. Everybody has a story and I delight in helping people bring that into written (and digital) form.
